Charging Systems:

There are 2 common charging systems: Alternators and Generators. Many of our harnesses have options to fit a few types of Alternators: The most common in the USA are the following: 10DN, 10SI and 1 Wire. Generators a more simplistic, but there are 2 ways to control their output, regulators and cutout relays. There are also different varations of each.

ALTERNATORS

10SI Alternator Internal regulator. Accepts two way connector 90 deg to the body. There is also a main power terminal and a ground.
10DN Alternator Requires external regulator. Accepts two way connector on the rear. There is also a main power terminal and a ground.
1 Wire 10SI Alternator Black rubber plug on regulator terminals. There is also a main power terminal and a ground.
